About Us
Our Academy was founded on April 14, 2007.
Who are we?
Today we are the only structural unit in Latvia that is engaged in the development of children's and youth bowling, which is actively involved in bowling. We are a structural unit of the association "AZ Boulings".
What do we do?
– Teaching the theory and practice of bowling to students of the academy
– Comprehensive - physical and intellectual - development of children and youth
– Cooperation with schools and youth organizations
– Constant improvement of the training process, including the involvement of sports specialists, coaches, psychologists, physiotherapists
– Qualified bowling coaches and training of instructors
Where are we?
The Academy is located at Skautu Street 2, Jelgava.
What is our goal?
To create one of the largest and most competitive structures in Europe in 17 years, training young bowlers and high-class specialists.
What are our tasks?
– To prepare qualified trainers to work with both beginners and professionals.
– Opening bowling schools in all major cities of Latvia – Riga, Daugavpils, Liepaja, Jurmala, Ventspils, Rezekne, etc.
– Active work with bowling club owners, with the aim of developing bowling in their institutions as a sport and receiving especially advantageous offers for organizing children's classes.
– Promotion of bowling as a sport.
– Creation of a base (classes) for theoretical classes.
– Organization of qualified medical care (preventive examination) and rehabilitation procedures.
– Active cooperation with training centers for young bowling players in other countries. Participation in exchange programs for both athletes and specialists.
What are the prospects for our students?
– Sports achievements in bowling with the ability to fully provide for yourself and your family financially.
– Building a professional career in the field of bowling – athlete, coach, specialist in physical and psychological training, head of international legal structures of bowling, technical specialist (engineer, programmer), production specialist
– Participation in international competitions on five continents, experience in international relations
– Along with good health, a life without illness and pain is ensured.
– Self-improvement in physical, intellectual terms, discipline and responsibility.
The name of the academy means:
– А-Z – are the first and last letters of the Latvian alphabet. They symbolize that in our bowling academy we strive to teach young people all the basics of this complex game. From the first to the last letter. With us, your child will be able to go from a beginner to an international master.
